Cabbage Patch Hydrangea is a compact deciduous shrub with unique thick and twisting serrated foliage. Its lacecap flowers bloom on old wood with color that depends on the soil PH -acidic soils produce pink flowers, while alkaline soils produce blue flowers. The flowers attract butterflies and pollinators. Best bloom in partial sun and rich, moist well-drained soils.
