Penny's Pink Lenten Rose is a late winter-blooming evergreen perennial with leathery dark green basal foliage that emerges marbled with hot pink veining that matures to bright emerald green veining by summer.  Deep purple stems sporting purple buds open to pink and chartreuse flowers that deepen in color as they mature and last from late winter to mid spring.   Best bloom in dappled sun and moist well-drained soils.  All parts of the plant are toxic if ingested.
