Fiery Tempest Avens is a clumping semi-evergreen herbaceous perennials with oak-like hairy foliage. Branched stems host ruffled semi-double orange-red flowers from late spring well into summer. Prompt deadheading can encourage an additional summer bloom. Best bloom with afternoon shade in the South and moist well-drained soils.
