Red Blanket Flower is a uniform compact herbaceous perennial with upright stems and medium green lance-like foliage. Heavy blooms of large dark red daisy-like flowers with dark red global seedheads with yellow centers last throughout summer. Deadheading will encourage additional bloom. Prefers full sun and dry to medium well-drained rich soils. D rought tolerant once established.
