Burgundy Rubber Plant is a large tropical evergreen shrub used as a houseplant for its huge glossy foliage. Burgundy Rubber Plant's new growth emerges red before maturing to deep near-black green with contrasting red mid ribs. Grows best with bright indirect sun with protection from afternoon sun and well-draining soils.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance. Wipe the leaves down with horticultural / neem oil solution and dish soap to simultaneously clean the leaves and to deter pests. Let soil dry out between watering.

PLANT NERD TIPS: Ficus have a reputation for being finnicky, but Ficus Burgundy are as hardy as they come! Just be sure to give them a nice filtered light, keep them away from any drafts, and wipe the leaves down and they should stay relatively happy year-round.
