Kadota Fig is a deciduous fruiting tree that produces two crops a year with green skin when ripe. It has an interesting winter silhouette and lobed palmate mid-green leaves. The sweet-smelling fruits are produced in spring and summer and ripen while maintaining a yellow-green outside which confuses birds with pink flesh. Highly adaptable, but provides the best fruit in full sun and well-drained soils. Extremely disease and pest resistant.
