MAINTENANCE NEEDS: High Maintenance. Overly moist soils can lead to root rot. The plant may decline in overly hot and humid summers. Considerable browning may occur in harsh winters. Cut Back foliage in spring to encourage new growth. Clumps tend to die back in the center every 2-3 years and should be divided and replanted, or replaced.
