Japanese Aralia is an exotic looking evergreen shrub with huge 16” deeply-lobed palmately leaves that are a glossy dark green. A late bloomer, Japanese Aralia has large clusters of creamy white flowers in umbels in fall that are followed by black fruits. Best shape in dappled sun and moist, well-drained soils.
