Dwarf spurge is a compact herbaceous evergreen perennial that grows in upright mounds.  The fleshy lance-like foliage with blue-green leaves with a reddish flush on new growth and gains a purple hue in winter.  Dense bottle-brush columns of green-yellow flowers tip the stems in late spring into summer, attracting bees and butterflies.  Best shape in full sun and dry, well-drained soils.

NOTE: Broken stems have a milky white sap that can cause significant skin or eye irritation.  Do not plant near where children or pets play.
