Cleopatra Echinacea is a compact freely branching native perennial with strong upright stems that do not need staking and aromatic dark green foliage. The fragrant flowers open with bright gold horizontal petals that fade to cream and bloom from summer through fall. Thrives in full sun and well-drained soils. The flowers attract butterflies and bees, and spent stems will stay erect and attract birds if not removed. Drought tolerant.
