Sangrita Echinacea is a compact freely branching native perennial with strong upright stems that do not need staking and aromatic dark green foliage. Heavy blooms of fragrant rich red flowers with overlapping petals and large cones begin in late spring and all through summer. Thrives in full sun and well-drained soils. The flowers attract butterflies and bees, and spent stems will stay erect and attract birds if not removed. Drought tolerant.
