Summer Sky Echinacea is an upright free-branching native perennial with strong stems that do not need staking and grey-green foliage.  Summer Sky Echinacea has huge 5” lightly rose-scented flowers with downward arching bicolor petals that are pastel yellow at the tip, shading to peach and darkening to deep pink at the center and deep orange center cones.  The flowers bloom from late spring to late summer, and occasionally an additional bloom in fall.  Thrives in full sun and well-drained soils.  The flowers attract butterflies and bees, and spent stems will stay erect and attract birds if not removed.
