Vintage Ruby Echinacea is a compact branching native perennial with strong upright stems that do not need staking and deep green foliage. The large bright ruby red flowers with deep red cones soften with age and bloom from mid to late summer. Thrives in full sun and well-drained soils. The flowers attract butterflies and bees, and spent stems will stay erect and attract birds if not removed. Drought tolerant.
