Cast In Bronze Distylium is a compact evergreen shrub with an upright rounded habit and shiny dark green foliage that emerges with a bronze-maroon tint. The small red flowers bloom on arching stems in winter and early spring attracting butterflies and pollinators. Grows best in full sun and slightly acidic, moist well-drained soil. Tolerates drought and wet soils.
