Dash Crimson Dianthus is a compact perennial with deep green foliage and sturdy hairy stems. Flat topped clusters of deep crimson carnation-like flowers with lighter eyes bloom heavily in spring then intermittently through summer into fall. Blooms best in full sun and slightly alkaline, moist, and well-drained soil.
