Hummingbird’s Lunch Cuphea is a tender perennial grown as an annual with a neat rounded habit and upright whorls of green foliage.  The tiny but showy cylindrical flowers are cherry red with apricot tips and bloom along the stems from spring through fall.  The flowers are highly attractive to hummingbirds and butterflies.  Flowers best moist, well drained soils.  Somewhat drought tolerant once established and is easy-care.
