Brilliant Hibiscus is a large upright tender tropical shrub treated as an annual with toothed foliage. Its large, lightly ruffled cardinal red flowers with showy extended stamen, if outside in their zones, will flower year-round or till frost, while indoor plants bloom from late spring through summer. Grows best with full sun and rich, moist well drained soils.
