Lipstick Pepper is a compact fast growing annual that produces very sweet peppers in 55-75 days. The elongated heart shaped vegetables can grow to 4" and have green skin that turns bright red when ripe. Best if grown in full sun and rich, moist, acidic well-drained soils. Excellent disease resistance.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance. Water Regularly with 1-2 inches of water per week. Do not transplant deeper than previously grown. Blight, mildew, leaf spot, and mosaic virus can be issues, especially if soil is too moist or there's not good air circulation. Aphids, borers, beetles, and cutworms can be occasional issues.
