Dr. Ruppel Clematis is a compact deciduous climbing perennial vine with medium green foliage that blooms first on old wood then again on new wood.  The large pale flowers with wide deep rose stripes and cream anthers bloom first in late spring and again in late summer.  Prefers full sun and moist well-drained soil.  Needs support.
