Dracula Celosia is a vigorous warm-season annual with rich green foliage that deepens to bronze burgundy under intense sun. Its distinct velvety large crested flowerheads that resemble a rooster's comb are a rich dark red that similarly deepens to dark velvet red in intense sun, and bloom through summer into fall. Best bloom in full sun and consistently moist well-drained soils. Tolerates light shade and dry soils. Note: While the colors intensify under intense sun, Dracula will also have shorter growth.
