Cherokee Sedge is a native compact evergreen ornamental grass that grows in slow-spreading clumps with upright deep green grass-like foliage. In late spring its scaly white flowers transitions into wheat seed-like clusters. Prefers partial sun and moist, well-drained soil but is drought tolerant once established. Can be used as turf replacement.
