Winterstar Boxwood is a dwarf evergreen shrub with a dense upright rounded habit and petite vibrant emerald green leaves that maintain its color in winter. Inconspicuous flowers. Prefers sunny to partial shade areas in well-drained soils. Winterstar is heat, drought, and deer tolerant, with improved disease resistance.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low maintenance. Some susceptibility to blight and leaf spots. Root rot can be a problem in poorly drained soils. The main pests are leaf miners, psyllids and mites. New growth is susceptible to winter damage.
