Jindai Tatarian Aster is a tall erect perennial with distinct paddle shaped leaves that get small higher on the plant. Small but abundant lavender to blue flowers bloom in flat-top clusters in fall until frost. Grows best in full sun and rich, well-drained soils. Jindai seldom needs staking.
