Blue Wood Aster is a somewhat weedy native evergreen perennial with sharply toothed heart shaped foliage that forms a basal rosette.  Slightly arching branched stems sport clusters of soft blue daisy-like flowers with yellow centers from late summer into fall.  Grows best with full sun and well-drained soils.  Good drought and heat tolerance.
