Mary Gregory Stokes’ Aster is a somewhat weedy native evergreen perennial with sharply toothed heart shaped foliage that forms a basal rosette. Slightly arching branched stems sport clusters of soft blue daisy-like flowers with yellow centers from late summer into fall. Grows best with full sun and well-drained soils. Good drought and heat tolerance. Also known as Symphyotrichum cordifolium.
