Red Chokecherry is a native multi-stemmed deciduous shrub with a vase-shaped habit. The glossy green foliage turns orangish-red in fall.  Clusters of white flowers to light pink flowers bloom in spring and give way to small bright red berries in fall that can be used in jams and jellies.  Best fruit production in full sun and average well-drained soils.  Can tolerate boggy soils.
