Red Riding Hood Anemone is a compact clumping herbaceous perennial with deeply lobed glossy dark green foliage. The nodding, fragrant bright to dark pink flowers with yellow anthers bloom on upright stems from mid summer into fall and are followed by wholly seedheads. Flowers best in filtered sun and moist well-drained soils.
