Green Foliage Bugleweed is an evergreen carpet-forming herbaceous perennial with bright green leaves. Short spikes of deep blue flowers appear in mid to late spring. Flowers best in part sun and moist, well-drained soils. An aggressive spreader, but not the best choice for extremely dry shade conditions.
Bugleweed has medicinal properties that is traditionally used for the treatment of wounds or sores and arresting haemorrhages. It is also used for coughs, fever, and normalizing the heart rate. Do not use if pregnant.*
