Sun Valley Red Maple is a small fast-growing deciduous tree noted for its symmetrical ovate crown and brilliant red color in late fall. The lightly palmate leaves emerge red and mature to green before turning brilliant scarlet in fall. Inconcipcous spring flowers. Grows best in rich, moist, slightly acidic well-drained soils.
