Summer Red Red Maple is a fast-growing deciduous tree with an oval crown and intense colors in spring and summer. The lightly lobed leaves emerge early as a lustrous red or purple and matures to dark purplish-green with older leaves turning yellow while younger leaves become orange or purple in fall before falling. Grows best in rich, moist, slightly acidic well-drained soils.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low maintenance. Water regularly. Potential issues include stem canker, leaf spots, and root rots. Potential insect pests include aphids, scale, borers, and leafhoppers. Verticillium Wilt can be fatal.
