Orangeola Japanese Maple is a dwarf cascading deciduous tree with more height than spread. The lacy, deeply dissected red-green palmate foliage emerges bright orange-red with a second flush or orange in mid summer before turning fiery red and orange in fall. Grows best in rich, moist, slightly acidic well-drained soils. Prefers full sun in cooler climates, but needs afternoon shade in southern areas.
