Green Wheel Hens and Chicks is a mat-forming evergreen succulent that grows in dense rosettes of flat light green fleshy foliage. The mother Rosset(hen) spreads out with hot pink horizontal stems to seed offsets (chicks). Infrequently in summer a short stalk rises from the hen sporting clusters of pink flowers. The hen dies after flowering, giving space for the chicks to grow. Best color with full sun and dry to medium well-drained soils. Drought and heat tolerant once established.
