New York Night Lenten Rose is a winter-blooming evergreen perennial with leathery rich green basal foliage. Clusters of large nodding black to purple-black flowers bloom from late winter into spring. Best bloom in dappled sun and moist well-drained soils. All parts of the plant are toxic if ingested.
