Big O Eucalyptus Tree is a small evergreen tree with a broad upright habit and is quickly becoming the most popular cultivar in the States. Its large aromatic foliage has two stages: its juvenile stage is a vivid blue-green with rounded foliage on squared stems that that earn a red cast in cooler weather and lasts for 7-15 yrs, and at maturity elongates and earns purple hues in cool weather. inconspicuous clusters of white summer flowers. MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Very Low Maintenance. Some susceptibility to armillaria, Gray Mold, Powdery Mildew, and Collar Rot. Potential pests include Crown Gall, Stem Galls, While Aphids, Scale Insects. Note: Eucalyptus is allelopathic and many plants will not grow under its canopy.
