Bowles Periwinkle is a fast spreading evergreen perennial with smooth upright stems and glossy dark green foliage. Large violet-blue flowers bloom en masse from late spring until the first frost. Grows best with part shade and moist rich well-drained soils. Can tolerate to near full shade and drought.
