August Lady is a popular late-season freestone peach variety that typically ripens in late August to early September. It produces large, firm yellow peaches with a beautiful red blush. The fruit has excellent flavor with a good balance of sweetness and acidity. August Lady peach trees are known for their productivity and adaptability to various growing conditions. Grows best in full sun and rich, moist well-drained soils. August Lady is self-pollinating (though having another peach variety nearby can increase yields) and has 750-950 hours chill requirement.
