Midnight Express Redbud is a stunning dark-leafed native deciduous tree with an upright habit and deep pink flowers bloom in early spring. The deep burgundy heart shaped leaves earn emerald undertones in summer, than becomes lit up with butterscotch tones while remaining burgundy and red. Thrives in full sun to partial shade and well-drained soil.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low maintenance. Canker can be a significant disease problem. Various diseases and pests and be prevented with regular watering and pruning of dead branches. Does not transplant well, plant when young and leave undisturbed.
