Gulf King Peach is a dwarf fruiting deciduous tree with a vase to rounded crown and a early season harvest of clingstone peaches. Profuse blooms of fragrant soft pink flowers coat the branches in spring attracting butterflies. The yellow peaches flush to 80-90% red with firm but juicy non-melting yellow flesh that has a rich sweetness with a hint of acidity. Grows best in full sun and rich, moist well-drained soils. Gulf King is self-pollinating with a consistent crop and low chill requirement of 350-400 chill hours.
