Monrovia® Berry Dazzle Dwarf Crape Myrtle is a upright deciduous shrub with an arching crown and exfoliating bark. The oval dark green leaves emerge burgundy and turn dark red in fall. The heavy blooms of rich red panicles smother the branches all summer and into fall. Best color in full sun and rich, well-drained acidic soil. Berry Dazzle has good drought and heat tolerance, and excellent mildew resistance .
