Cityline Mars Hydrangea is a dwarf hardy deciduous shrub with a tidy habit of upright stems and leathery disease resistant leaves. The large mophead panicle flowers' have a distinctive white margin on the petals, but the center color varies depending on the PH of the soil- in acidic soils the flowers will be indigo-blue while alkaline flowers will be magenta pink- and bloom throughout summer on old wood before fading to an attractive green. Best bloom in partial sun and rich, moist well-drained soils.
