Minuet Weigela is an early-blooming dwarf deciduous shrub with a rounded habit and dense purple tinted green foliage. A heavy profusion of funnel-shaped purplish red flowers with yellow throats bloom in spring and sporadically again in summer. Fall color and fruit are insignificant. Best flowering and color with full sun and rich, moist well-drained soils. Can tolerate some light shade.
