Ebony Knight Black Mondo Grass is a clump forming evergreen ornamental grass with striking arching purple-black foliage and small bell-like white flowers with lilac tinting that bloom in summer. The flowers are followed by pea sized purple-black berries that are often hidden in the foliage.  Best color in part sun and slightly acidic, consistently moist well-drained soil.
