Little Poncho Dogwood is a dwarf flowering deciduous tree with a single trunk that has rich green leaves that gain wavy margins which can be mild or heavy and turns orange to purple fall . Large button flowers that have pointed white petal-like brackets bloom from late spring into summer. Attractive edible red fall fruits that taste like papaya follow the flowers. Prefers part sun and slightly acidic, moist, well-drained soil. Has excellent disease resistance.
