Monrovia® Chirimen Marlberry is a low-spreading evergreen shrub with dense, glossy green foliage that rapidly spreads by runners making for a good groundcover. The white summer flowers are followed by tiny drooping cherry-like drupes that persist through winter. Best grown in average, moist but well-drained acidic soils.
