SunMist is a freestone nectarine variety known for its excellent flavor and attractive appearance. A profuse mid spring bloom of showy fragrant bright pink flowers coat the bare branches attracting butterflies. The fuzz-free red fruits have rich golden flesh with a balanced sweet-tang flavor ready for harvest in mid summer. Grows best in full sun and rich, moist well-drained soils. SunMist is self-pollinating, and has a high chill requirement of 200-300 hours.
