Vision in Red Chinese Astilbe is a compact clumping herbaceous perennial with dark green foliage and dark purple stems. Fully packed panicles of dark maroon to deep purplish-red flowers bloom above the leaves in summer. Flowers best in part shade and rich, moist soils. Astilbe are deer and rabbit resistant.
