Sage Advice Russian Sage is a compact woody perennial with finely dissected aromatic grey-green foliage on stiff square stems. Whorls of rich lavender-blue flowers on airy pinnacles bloom in summer. Best flowering in full sun and well-drained soils. Drought tolerant once established.
