Chicagoland Green Boxwood is a uniformly oval evergreen shrub with a dense compact habit. Its fine, bright green leaves will stay green in shade, or bronze in winter if planted in full sun. Small clusters of yellow flowers bloom in spring. Prefers part shade and well-drained soils, as it is prone to burning if planted in full sun. Drought tolerant once established.
