Monrovia® Pristar Deep Blue Bellflower is a tidy, compact semi-evergreen perennial with leathery dark green foliage. Heavy blooms of cupped violet blue to indigo flowers bloom throughout summer and can be extended if deadheaded. Flowers best in filtered sun in the South and consistently moist well-drained soils. Deep Blue is the earliest flowering of the Pristar series.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance. Prefers cool summers and struggles in climates higher than zone 7. Cut back to basal rosettes when stem leaves begin to fade. Watch for snails, slugs, and aphids.
