Crown of Pharaoh Papyrus is a vigorous clump forming sedge grass with thick bright green triangular stems topped with huge green umbels resembling onion flowers. Large poms of tiny green flowers bloom at the end of each ray in summer. Prefers part shade and wet boggy soils. Drought tolerant. Treat as an annual if the temperature drops below 35F in winter.
