Monrovia® Black Coral Elephant Ear is a dramatic tuberous perennial grown for its large jet black arrow-shaped foliage that is lightly waved and glossed. Its canna-lily flowers rarely bloom. The best color occurs with filtered light and rich, moist to marginal soils. If grown in area that experiences frost, bring inside to overwinter or treat as an annual. The Royal Hawaiian series is disease resistant.
